How long does the construction process last?
The typical construction process should take about 2 months to complete once we start excavation. Factors like weather can slow this process, but we are on site during every phase to keep it moving smoothly.
Is it hard to maintain the pool?
We build our pools to be as easy as possible to maintain for the homeowner. Every pool will require weekly chemical management and cleaning. We offer weekly service too, so you wont have to worry about it. Since we service pools, we try and build them to be as user friendly as possible.
What is the construction process?
We first start with a consultation to find out what the customer is wanting in a pool and their budget. We then design a pool to fit all of their needs and wants. After they are happy with the design and price, we start the construction process:
Excavation-we will stake out the pool based on the design and confirm with you everything is correct before digging.
Steel- Once the whole is dug we will add reinforced steel for the shell and beams.
Plumbing- Rough in plumbing stubs out all of the drains and return lines
Gunite- We will shoot gunite with in 3 days of digging the hole. We promise not to leave you with a pond in your yard for weeks.
Tile / Coping- The gunite will cure for at least 10 days, during this time we will start putting on the tile and then coping.
Electrical / Plumbing- We will install the equipment and run the electrical and plumbing so that it is ready for water after plaster.
Deck- Almost finished. We will pour the decking based on the custom design and can be topped with a variety of deck surfaces.
Plaster- The final phase is plaster. This is because the plaster is the most sensitive process and makes the water sparkle!
Start Up- We provide a 28 day start up to make sure the plaster cures properly and all chemical levels are perfectly balanced. This is a very critical process and must be done perfectly.
JUMP IN- The pool is complete and ready to enjoy with friends and family!
